What Concise Does

Concise is a writing clarity editor. It helps you review readability, sentence difficulty, passive voice, adverbs, complex words, wordy phrases, weak qualifiers, word count, sentence count, and estimated reading time.

Writing You Enter

Text you type or paste into Concise is used to provide the app's writing analysis features.

The core clarity checks run on your device. Concise does not require an account, backend, external writing API, or internet connection for those checks. Document text, imported files, analysis results, projects, version history, and custom language entries are not sent to RevenueCat or the developer.

Local Drafts and Settings

Concise may store drafts, editor state, projects, folders, tags, version history, writing profiles, custom language entries, preferences, and related app settings locally on your device so you can return to them later.

Local data can usually be managed in the app or by removing the app from your device, depending on your platform and device settings.

No Account System

Concise does not require you to create an account or sign in to use the core writing editor.

Support Requests

If you contact support through the support form, we use the information you send only to understand and respond to your request.

Please avoid sending sensitive personal information in support emails unless it is necessary for the issue you want help with.

Platform Services

Apple, Google, your device operating system, your email provider, or app store services may process information under their own policies when you download the app, make or restore a purchase, send support email, submit diagnostics, or use platform features.

Purchases

Concise Pro Lifetime is an optional one-time, non-consumable purchase. It is not a subscription and does not renew.

Apple or Google processes payment and store transaction information. RevenueCat processes an anonymous app-user identifier, purchase history, store transaction information, and limited device/app metadata needed to provide and restore the premium entitlement.

Purchase information is used only to operate, verify, and restore Concise Pro. It is not used for advertising or cross-app tracking, and Concise does not request ATT permission or collect an advertising identifier.

Refunds and payment disputes are handled under the purchasing store's policies. Restore uses the same Apple App Store or Google Play account; ownership is not transferred between Apple and Google because Concise has no account system.

AI and Advertising

The current Concise product does not use AI or a remote writing assistant. It does not display advertising and does not perform cross-app tracking.

Personal Data Is Not Sold

We do not sell personal data. We use support information only as needed to respond to support, comply with legal obligations, or protect the app and its users.

Your Choices

You choose what writing you enter into Concise. You can delete or replace text in the editor, reset all local app data from Settings, manage app permissions through your device settings, and request store-managed purchase refunds where applicable.

Changes

We may update this Privacy Policy as Concise changes. The effective date will be updated when the policy is revised.
